Compass Systems Inc. in conjunction with NavyChief.com coordinated the 1st Annual Navy Chiefs’ Run for the Wall to raise money for the Charlotte Hall Veteran’s Home. The run started out at the Compass Systems parking lot on Sunday, May 25, and rode up to All-American Harley Davidson in Hughesville, MD where they received a police escort to Ft. Washington Harley Davidson, then on to the Pentagon to participate in Rolling Thunder 2008. On 10 July 2008, Compass Systems, Inc. had raised the funds for and presented a check in the amount of $1888.00 to the Charlotte Hall Veteran’s Home.
