Compass Systems, Inc. is seeking candidates for the following full time UAV positions in Yuma, AZ:

UAV Maintenance Technicians: Applicants should be familiar with large-scale wooden and composite aircraft construction, small petrol engine maintenance and tuning, and general electronic systems troubleshooting.

UAV Payload Operators: Payload sensor/ camera experience. Previous experience with Hunter/Shadow/Predator a plus.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Operators: Requirements include at least 1-year Radio Controlled (RC) experience with airplanes, preferably Giant Scale; ability to maneuver an air vehicle using flight controls such as rudders and elevators. The ideal candidate will have actual experience flying UAVs including takeoff and landing, and will possess a pilot license.

Candidates must be US citizens and possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Salary commensurate with experience All positions will require travel outside the continental United States (OCONUS) for 3-4 month rotations. Travel will also be required for training inside the CONUS. Premium compensation paid for OCONUS deployment.

Compass Systems, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Avionics Technician with 5+ years of experience. Position located at Yuma Proving Grounds. Ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of avionics electronics and be able to read schematics and perform troubleshooting and repairs on UAV platforms. Must also possess the ability to address mechanical problems and make structural and engine repairs. Will be required to work flexible schedule. Prior experience working with the YPG a plus and candidate must live within the vicinity of the YPG or be willing to relocate. Personal transportation required. Candidate must be US citizen and possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Salary commensurate with experience.

Job requirements:
- The successful candidate will have at least a BS in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering (MS preferred).
- A solid math background and at least 5 years experience in control/guidance systems design and implementation is required.
- The candidate must be proficient in coding digital signal processing, Kalman filtering, and/or tracking loop algorithms using C/C++ programming languages developed specifically for microcontroller based hosts.
- A firm knowledge of C/C++, Matlab and MS Office products is required.
